Reading Notes: Ancient Egyptain Myths Part A

After reading Ancient Egyptain Myths by Donald Mackenzie, there were not very many stories that stood out to me. There was not much in these stories that I would use for my own. One thing that I did like was the formatting of the stories. I specifcally liked the spacing in The Green Jewel . The dialouge in the story was presented on its own line so that each time a different character was speaking it would be on a new line. I found this technique easy to follow the conversation between the characters. I also liked the character who lost her green jewel, she didn't give up even when Sneferu couldve given her a much higher quality of jewel. She didn't want that. She wanted her jewel because it had special meaning to her. I respected this about her. Even though I didn't take must interest in these stories I did like the formating of the stories and some of the highlighted characters.
