After looking at my blog and portfolio I realized that I needed to make them more esthetically pleasing for the viewer. I spent a lot of time adding images and creating a theme for each site, in hopes that when someone viewed my blog or portfolio that they would be excited to read my work. Having a class that revolves around technology is a new thing for me. I am just now starting to feel confident in how to work everything, thank you for barring with me.
Overall, I think that I have done well in with my assignments. I have done a good job of following the instructions given for each assignment. I am proud of my stories that I have written. This class is out of my comfort zone. I am not use to exercising my creative thinking. I am pleasantly surprised with how much I have enjoyed the freedom and creativity that comes with this class.
One of my favorite readings so far is the story about Saint Francis. I connected with this story for religious reasons and as a reader. I enjoyed the reading so much that I also wrote my story about Saint Francis. I used the reading "Saint Francis of Assisi" from The Book of Saints and Friendly Beasts by Abbie Farwell Brown as a reference for my story.
I have learned that I do not have to strictly follow the reading overview that I created in week two. There has been times where the topic that I choose to read about for that week I don't end up liking. When this happens I read part A but then choose a different topic for part B.
Although, I have learned so much from this class but moving forward I want to make a point to work ahead so that I can delve into the assignments more without feeling rushed. If I work ahead I believe that I will be able to learn even more from the readings and will enjoy the class more.

I choose this image from my story about Saint Francis. I love how this image shows Saint Francis communicating with the birds. I believe that this picture shows how nurturing he is. His body language shows how kind he is. Saint Francis's attire infers his minimalistic ways. I think this image does a great job of representing Saint Francis.
