Reading Notes: American Indian Fairy Tales, Part A

After reading American Indian Fairy Tales by Ojibwa and other Native American legends collected and published by Henry Schoolcraft I began to think about the structure of my stories. One story that stood out to me specifically was "The Little Boy and Girl in the Clouds." I loved the order of the story. The dialogue was placed in the perfect places. There wasn't to much dialogue to where it distracted you from the story but just enough to where it added detail and characterization. For my upcoming story, I would like to focus on the structure of my story.
