Reading Notes: American Indian Fairy Tales, part B

After reading the American Indian Fairy Tales part B by W.T. Larned I became inspired by the descriptive sentences. One introduction sentence that stood out to me from "The Boy Who Snared the Sun," was "Deep, crusted snow covered the earth and sparkled in the light of a wintry moon." I love how the story started by creating a picture for the readers by placing them in the scene. I enjoy reading stories with a lot of detail so I want to create a story filled with descriptive sentences. For this upcoming story, I would like to start my introduction by using a descriptive sentence to draw the reader into my story.
